This wool cover by Popolini is made from 100% merino wool and is available in four sizes. They are double knitted and perfect for children with sensitive skin, for heavy wetters and for long nights.

Please select in the dropdown menu above which size you wish to purchase. Knitted wool covers like this should be ordered one size up from your child’s regular clothes. This is because they shrink and felt a little after multiple washes.

Before the first use, a wool cover should be treated with lanolin to make it waterproof. After lanolization, the wool cover can be used for weeks on end without further treatment. The cover should only be aired out. It should be washed when it gets soiled, or when the wool cover still smells after having aired it out. After washing, you need to lanolize the wool cover once. This is once every two to four weeks on average.

With your order, you will receive extensive instructions for washing and lanolization.

The wool cover can be washed by hand with wool detergent or baby shampoo. It can not be dried in the dryer.

Super wool pants for the night. Is wonderfully comfortable on my little daughter. Does its job very well. Washing and lanolising is not that much work

Regular overpants no longer held her with our tummy and side sleeper. Lanolizing was less work than I thought. Now we have been using the wool pants for 6 weeks without having to wash or lanolize in between. We went up two sizes and it is roomy but waterproof. Highly recommended!

Leakproof, but quickly out of shape

I have used wool pants for nighttime with my son since he was born. He is almost 9 months now. He gets through the night leak-free, which is super! However, you notice that after washing (by hand) the pants quickly shrink and get out of shape (no longer stretchy). I find that very unfortunate.

The step to wool pants was a big one, but what a relief! Finally we get through the night dry. Lanolizing is much less hassle than I thought, and doesn't need to be done as often (only done 3 times before first use so far, in use for a week or two now, but still smells clean). We use size 86/92 for my son who wears size 80 clothes. Over the Anavy xl night diaper this fits fine, but doesn't really hold up. Over the Anavy OS this fits easily. On the tummy the pants don't fit very well, but because the pants are high, that's not really necessary. In any case, I don't want to be without it anymore.

Although I find lanolizing quite a hassle, it is a fine pair of pants. No leaks and it also looks very cute.
