Cloth Diaper Fastener
A modern day diaper fastener is the alternative to the old-fashioned diaper pins. A diaper fastener is more user friendly.
By means of grips at the ends, a diaper fastener hooks into the cloth diaper fabric. This makes it quick and easy to secure a folded flat diaper or pre fold around your child. For example, this can be a flat diaper in kite fold or a pre fold diaper in bikini twist fold.
Also, diaper fasteners can be used to close hourglass shaped inserts without snaps or hook and loop (Velcro).
Popolini Snappi
The Snappi diaper fastener by Popolini is a flexible diaper fastener. It has grips at each of the three ends of the fastener, which hook into the fabric. The diaper fastener Snappi by Popolini are available in different colors and are sold separately.
Each of the grips has some sort of loop behind it. This loop can be pulled over the sharp teeth of the grips to store the diaper fastener safely.
These loops are not meant to be pulled on to tighten the fit of the diaper and they might break when doing that.
The Snappi diaper fastener by Popolini is 13 cm long. They can be cleaned under the tap with warm water.

ABZ diaper fastener
With ABZ diaper fastener you can easily secure prefolds, birdseye diapers and muslin diapers, without the use of safety pins. The diaper clips have small barbs that grab into the fabric.
For very small babies where the diaper still closes over each other, one diaper clip is sufficient. For somewhat larger children, use two ABZ diaper clips from this set if the closure is a bit further apart. For older children and adults, you can use all four diaper clips. The diaper clips are sold per 4 pieces of one color.
The ABZ diaper clips can be washed in warm water if necessary.
Safety pin for reusable nappies
With an affordable safety pin you can attach a prefold, birdseye diaper, flat or preflat. But you can also use it for many other purposes such as handicrafts. To open the pin, push down and in at the same time. This ensures that the safety pin does not open easily on its own. The safety pin is 5.5 cm long. The diaper pins are sold individually and are available in various colours.
The safety pin can be washed in warm water if necessary.
