Foldable diapers are all sorts of diapers that are not fitted diapers , but still need to be folded to use them as cloth diapers . Examples of foldable diapers are flat diapers , prefolds and knit tie diapers . 

Flat diapers

Flat nappies are extremely multifunctional. They can not only be used as a diaper, but also as a sunscreen, burp cloth, bib, blanket etc. The cotton flat diapers are the original “old-fashioned” cotton nappies. Nowadays, they can be fastened easily and safely with a nappy fastener like a Snappi. Flats can be folded in many different ways to form a cloth nappy. Birdseye Flat Diapers

The old-fashioned birdseye flat diaper is still a great diaper if you do not mind the folding. Because of the special weaving technique, birds eye flat nappies absorb more than a flat nappy, even though the fabric is not much thicker. There are a ton of possible folds with these square cloths, that usually measure 70 x 70 cm. We sell birds eye flat diapers from Blümchen and Buttons.

Prefolds

Prefolds are made of several layers of fabric and usually absorb more than flat nappies. They are usually smaller and should be folded in different ways than flat nappies. They are also very suitable to use tri folded in a so-called “pad fold”, as inserts in a pocket nappy or in covers. 

Preflats

Preflats are folding diapers that are partly fitted, making them easier to fold into nappies. You can fold it nicely around your child. With small children, you fold a part of the nappy, so that the nappy becomes shorter and therefore smaller. We also sell pocket preflats, which you can boost yourself to your liking, without having separate boosters in the nappy. You can put boosters or prefolds in the large pocket opening, after which you can easily put on the nappy in one go. We currently have preflats and pocket preflats from Buuh and Cloth Bums in solid colours and with beautiful designs.

Knit Tie Diapers

Knit tie diapers are trim fitting cotton nappies that are very suitable for newborns. With an extra booster, they can be used for the entire diapering time of your child. We sell knitted tie nappies from Disana and Popolini, made of 100% organic cotton. 

Diaper Fasteners

Snappi diaper fasteners are a user-friendly alternative for the old-fashioned nappy pin. By means of grips at either end, a nappy fastener hooks into the cloth nappy fabric to create a snug fit around your baby. ABZ diaper fasteners work in the same way, but they are two separate fasteners which makes them easier to use on bigger children.
