Snap-in-one diapers (SIO diapers)

SIO diapers or AI2 diapers (all-in-two) consist of a cover with snaps on the inside and an insert that can be snapped into the cover. When the insert is snapped into the cover, the diaper can be put on as easily as a disposable diaper. Most of the time, you only need to switch out the inserts and you can reuse the diaper cover with every diaper change. 

Our Brands

We carry several different brands of SIO diapers, that all have their pros and cons. 

Bare and Boho

The diapers by Bare and Boho consist of a waterproof cover with a double layer of PUL and a snap-in insert. The covers also have double leg gussets, which provides a snug fit around the legs. They close with a double row of snaps and are adjustable in four sizes. This way, the diaper fits between around 4 to 18 kg. The inserts are available in a bamboo or hemp version. 

Buttons

The covers by Buttons are adjustable in size by the snaps at the front of the diaper. They fit children from around 4 to 15 kg. Buttons covers have a double layer of PUL and also have double leg gussets. This makes them very leakproof. 

Cloth Bums

Cloth Bums has several SIO diapers. The Pixie diaper is a One Size diaper (3-15 kg) that can be used as a pocket diaper and as a SIO diaper. The inside is made of fleece, has an SIO snap inside and a pocket opening at the back. In addition, there is the Fairy cover for newborns (2.5-10 kg) into which you can click a SIO insert. For larger children there is also the Dragon cover (4-15 kg) in which the Cloth Bums One Size SIO inserts can be placed. The Fairy and Dragon covers can also be used over fitted diapers.

Elskbar

Elskbar produces covers that are true all-rounders. At the back as well as the front there are three snaps, which allows for combining it with many brands of inserts. They also fit perfectly over fitted and foldable nappies. These gorgeous covers have a double layer of TPU, double leg gussets, flaps on the inside and fit from around 6 to 16 kg.

GroVia

The SIO system by GroVia consists of a cover with snaps or very soft and sturdy hook and loop (Velcro), in combination with an insert of organic cotton or microfiber. The covers fit from 3.5 to 14 kg. 

Kekoa

Kekoa has both Newborn (2-7kg) and One Size (3-18kg) diapers. The diapers can be used as a pocket diaper of as a SIO diaper. The diapers are made entirely from recycled polyester and each print has its own story. Both diapers come with two inserts. The diapers close with snaps and area adjustable in size.

Kijani

Kijani has two different SIO systems. A pull up diaper in several sizes, available for toddlers, young kids and older kids. And a standard system with a cover and a snap-in insert. The covers and SIO inserts are available in three different sizes; Newborn, One Size and XL. The covers can be bought in a PUL version, with two layers of PUL. Or in a kitenge version, with one layer of PUL on the inside and a layer of bright, authentic African fabric (kitenge) on the outside. 

Mother-ease

The Mother-ease Wizard Duo is a snap-in-one system, of which the covers and inserts are also sold separately. The covers are adjustable in size and fit from around 4.5 to 16 kg. The inserts are made of either organic cotton or polyester. 

Petit Lulu

The SIO diapers by Petit Lulu are also adjustable in size by the snaps at the front. This makes them fit from around 4 to 16 kg. The inserts can only snap into the One Size covers (with hook and loop or snaps), not into the Newborn or XL covers. The highly absorbent inserts are sold separately, or in a set with a cover under the name SIO Complete.
