About Maileg

The Danish brand Maileg (pronounced Mailai) was founded in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil. This beautiful brand is popular among collectors as well as children. Maileg creates beautifully detailed toys using various materials. They use organic cotton as much as possible.

Maileg has thought of every detail; some mice come in matchboxes that can immediately serve as a bed. How cute is that! Over the years, Maileg has released various lines, each with its own accessories and furniture. They are the proud makers of everything from baby toys to plushies, dollhouses and matching furniture, as well as home accessories for children and adults, and holiday decorations.

At Maileg, they consider it very important that the quality of all their products is as high as possible. Therefore, they work closely with factories and suppliers. All factories they collaborate with are family businesses.
