Please pay attention: The SIO diapers are available in two versions. The SIO diapers with the higher price have an extra booster. The Bare and Boho SIO diaper with a lower price are sold with one insert and no extra separate booster.
Bare and Boho Newborn diapers
This newborn diaper consists of a cover made of recycled polyester, a snap-in hemp or bamboo insert and an extra bamboo booster. The cover in the “Recycle” line has a microfleece layer on the inside, broad and soft back elastics and single leg gussets. Apart from the standard Snap-In-One insert this diaper comes with an additional booster. This makes the diaper extra soft and comfortable and is quite absorbent with the two inserts combined.
The diaper is made of recycled polyester, the PUL on the outside as well as the fleece layer on the inside.
There is a bamboo and a hemp version of this diaper that both come with an additional bamboo booster. There is also a version that comes without the additional bamboo booster.
The stay dry SIO insert is made of four layers of bamboo and cotton. The top layer is a soft stay dry layer of polyester for a dry feeling to the skin. The insert has double-layered side gussets around the thigh for maximum leak protection. Apart from the stay dry version there is also an ‘Eco Warrior’ version available made of hemp and organic cotton, without a stay dry layer.
The ‘Eco Warrior’ Snap-In-One insert is made of four layers of hemp and organic cotton. Because of the absence of synthetic fibers, the insert becomes a little stiff after washing and drying. However when it touches your baby’s warm skin it will become softer again. The insert has double-layered side gussets around the thigh for maximum leak protection. Apart from this ‘Eco Warrior’ version there is also a stay dry version available, made of bamboo and topped with a stay dry layer.
The additional booster is made to add a little extra absorbency without bulking up the diaper. The booster is made of three layers of bamboo and cotton with a top layer of stay dry microfleece. The booster is hourglass shaped and can be used either way up; the natural bamboo-cotton side or the stay dry microfleece side.
The diaper is adjustable in two sizes and fits from around 2 to 6 kg.
The inserts can be washed at 60 degrees Celsius. The producer recommends washing the cover at 40 degrees Celsius. The warranty will not be void when you wash at 60 degrees Celsius. We recommend line drying the inserts and the cover. It is best to dry the cover in the shade.
