The hems around the belly and legs have elastics to provide a snug fit. The mesh-like lining of the diaper will keep stool inside of the diaper.

Just waited a bit to review until I was on vacation to test it properly too :)! I am super satisfied my little girl (mt 74) and nice thick buttocks and legs fits him fine! It goes on just not the tightest setting with me. We have been swimming at least 10 times now and it stays on well! Used both as just swimwear/diaper and with a swimsuit over it. Totally perfect! Super happy with it don't understand why people who swim regularly still use disposable ones!
