Scrapnap XIV One Size

This One Size Scrapnap fitted diaper is handmade in The Netherlands. The diaper is made by Laura Beijn, who uses mainly recycled fabrics. The inner is usually made from napped cotton fabric or other leftover, absorbent material. The printed outer is mostly made from preloved, reused fabrics or leftovers from other sewing projects. This means that the outside of the diaper can easily be made from trousers, a T-shirt or grandma’s old teatowel. The part against your child’s skin is always made of new materials. In total, the diaper is made of 4 layers of fabric. It comes with a matching, hourglass shaped insert with the same print as the diaper. The booster is made from 3 layers of fabric. 

The diaper is adjustable with snaps at the front and fits from around 4.5 to 16 kg. The diaper closes with snaps. 

Because of the uniqueness of these diapers, the range of used fabrics can differ. It is always a combination of hemp, cotton and bamboo, of which a large part is recycled. Only the fabric against the skin is always new. This is fabric from Finland and is made of the following materials:

48% bamboo, 24% cotton, 18% polyester, 10% hemp 

The diapers will remain their best shape if they are washed at 40 degrees Celsius and if they are line dried. The print can fade a little after some time, depending on the fabric that has been used. 

If it would happen that a snap breaks, then the diaper will be repaired for you. This also goes for (other) production flaws that occur within 9 months after purchase and make the diaper unusable. This warranty policy matches the ideology behind the Scrapnap. It would be a waste to renew an almost perfect product if it is still easily mendable.
