Too stiff and does not work well with loose insert

I find these overpants to be stiff. It does not close nicely to the tummy.
I had chosen it for the inner flaps but they are too loose so the loose inserts don't stay tight enough.
The double leak gutters are handy though.
I will try it again when my son is bigger (he is almost 6kgs)
maybe it will work better.
