These GroVia training pants are very suitable to start your child’s potty training journey with! They can also be used for naps, car rides and nighttime. The pants fit from around 8 to 16 kg and are adjustable in two sizes. The training pants have a large pocket opening, in which you can put almost all kinds of boosters. The training pants themselves also have an absorbent core of hemp and cotton. With one or two extra boosters, these training pants can even be used as a pull-up diaper. The pants can be pulled-up like real underpants, and can also be opened at the sides. The outer layer is waterproof TPU.

Materials:

Outside: 100% polyester with TPU

Absorbent core: 55% hemp and 45% cotton

Inside: 100% polyester

These training pants can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius, and can be dried in the dryer.

good for beginning potty training

Because these practice pants can be easily boostered, this diaper can be used as a pull-up diaper as well, which is very easy especially in the beginning of potty training. One problem though is that the standard supplied side panels are quite small, for my narrow daughter it still works, although it is not very smooth and so she cannot put the pants down herself. Because it can be topped up like this, we now use it for longer car rides because a diaper is not convenient, if your child insists on going potty anyway.

Very handy at BZC

We are big fans of these shorts. Ideal for bzc with our one year old daughter. Fits a pee in easily, does not leak. Fit is good, our daughter is tall and narrow and weighs about 9 lbs. Drying does take quite a long time. Hole to put boosters in is quite narrow and without elastic, which is a bit of fiddling. Only smaller boosters fit. All in all very blii with it, highly recommended.

Stands a little open at the legs here

Falls too roomy at the legs on my 9kg'er. Of course she is still pretty much at the bottom of the indicated weight range but it should fit her from 8kg and that is not the case here. Now my child is only 1.5 and not yet potty trained, so I hope they will fit when the time comes. I already bought them as pull-up diapers. they don't feel like thin and flexible panties like some practice pants, but more like a diaper. Disadvantage so less thin and flexible, advantage that if topped up (and that is possible to some extent) it does function more like a diaper, slightly more waterproof than cloth practice pants. And so can be used as a pull-up diaper. Not easy for a small child to put on and take off by itself, it is a bit stiff.

Nicely designed for older children, but falls small

My 4-year-old son uses these at night. Since he no longer wears diapers during the day, I wanted to give him something at night that most resembled the disposable pull-up pants he used until recently. I put in extra boosters, but a very large toddler nighttime pee often doesn't hold. A smaller pee goes well. I had bought the extra large side panels with it, but they are actually too small, even though my son's build is in good proportion. This causes the diaper to sit too low on his bottom. I solved this by putting an extra piece between the side panels. Now it fits nicely. Conclusion: nice appearance for older children (not a 'childish' diaper), nice that it incl booster is a ready to use pull-up diaper. Disadvantage: extra large side panels do not fit well anymore at 4 years and it is difficult to get the absorption high enough without destroying the fit.

Thick and narrow

Pretty thick diaper, which is good for absorption, of course, but it doesn't feel like underpants. At the waist the pants are very narrow, and I really don't have a fat baby (1.5 years, 11 kilos). He's not going to fit these once we start potty training later. For now, it does get used as a regular diaper. The space for the insert is a little narrow, but otherwise fine for this purpose.

Not what I expected from it. Sits tight, space for booster is very narrow, leaks.

Fine convenient solution in potty training

Fine handy pants for potty training. Can be used for basically any size due to the separately ordered larger size side-panels. Nice fit. Only downside is that the pocket for the boosters is quite narrow so the boosters I already had in the house did not fit. Finally solved by using a hydrophilic.
