These soft menstrual pads by Imse are made of organic cotton. Sewn into the fabric, there is a layer of PUL to prevent leakage. The menstrual pads come in 3-packs. The cloth pads by Imse with a print are available in three sizes. The Natural/White and Black versions also come in size Thong Panty liner. The smallest size is perfect as a panty liner. The largest can also be used for nighttime. In the dropdown menu above, you can select the size you wish to receive.

Size Thong: 16 x 4 cm (Two absorbent layers)
Size S (Panty liner): 19 x 7 cm (Four absorbent layers)
Size M (Normal): 25 x 8.5 cm (Five absorbent layers)
Size L (Night): 33 x 8.5 cm (Six absorbent layers)

The wings of the pads can be folded around the underwear. There is a snap to secure the pad.

Material: 100% organic cotton

It is best to first rinse the cloth pads in cold water. This can be done with a cold rinse cycle or a short program in the washing machine. They can then be washed at 60 degrees. The cloth pads should not be put in the dryer.

The cloth pads are OEKO-TEX certified.

So much more than a bandage

Bought as a gift for my grandmother, she got a bacterial infection years ago with the result that her vagina is always inflamed, red and sensitive. Because she has to apply permanent ointment from the gynecologist, she used to wear tena lady's, which in addition to the necessary costs caused quite a few full garbage bags. She is extremely happy with them. She could never have imagined that a thin cotton bandage could absorb so much, and the fact that the redness and irritation is also a lot less gives real relief. Finally no more warm thick bandages between the legs and she only uses two in 24 hours, with the throw away it was soon a bandage or 5. + Just wash them and they are dry again.

So glad I now have no more irritation from using the washable panty liners. Easy to wash out, they get clean well. No more frequent changes than disposable panty liners and you keep a clean feeling.

I decided because of sustainability to buy washable pads. It was a very good choice. They catch enough that I can use them for a few hours even on heavier days. Size M is super for daytime use. I personally find the pink ones more practical than the blue/yellow versions because I keep seeing some stains in the blue ones even with cold pre-washing while with pink ones it is not so noticeable. They are a bit on the wide side for me so I have to wear tight-fitting underwear with them otherwise it sometimes folds in half.

This sanitary pad is fine, feels much nicer than disposable pads and stays in place well. After the first wash, the fabric did get a little "pilly," but that doesn't detract from how well it works.

Size L is really long for daytime but really perfect for the first three nights. They stay in place well and do not leak through on me. They also feel very comfortable. Much nicer than disposable pads. Size M is really nice for daytime, stays in place well and doesn't leak through either. I feel very safe with these pads. I also have pads from Petit Lulu which are also comfortable but I feel more comfortable wearing Imse when I am at work.
