Kitenge Newborn Cover Forest Sky

The newborn covers by Kijani fit from around 3 to 7 kg and are adjustable in two different sizes. The covers have a snap to snap in a Kijani insert. This cover is made of a solid colored PUL on the inside and a bright, colorful layer of kitenge on the outside. Despite the double layer of fabric it is a pliable cover. Kitenge is a very colorful cotton fabric, which is often used to make clothes out of. Kijani buys the kitenge fabric on a local market in Kampala. Every season, so four times a year, Kijani launches a new collection. Often, last season’s fabric will not be for sale anymore, which makes all prints limited editions.

Apart from the kitenge version, there is also a PUL version available. These have a PUL print on the outside as well as the inside, which makes it a double layered PUL cover.

 The cover closes with a double row of snaps and has sturdy elastics around the legs and back.

 Materials: 100% polyester (with PUL) with kitenge

 The covers can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius, and can be dried in the dryer. Line drying however is always preferred.
