Happy with these wipes! Don't find them rough, even after washing. They may feel a little rough, but always have a bowl of water where I put them in and then squeeze them, then they really don't feel rough anymore. Large enough to fold in half after each wipe and again, so much nicer than disposable. Thin enough to dry quickly after washing and thick enough to not let feces through, even thin feces. That too is a big advantage over disposable, where thin poop quickly makes you feel something on your fingers.... Like bamboo diapers, any roughening is down to the amount of detergent you use, I suspect.

Although these wipes are fine they are not very soft after washing. We also find that it is still impractical because you cannot leave a baby alone when changing and have to wet these wipes before use.

I find the wipes very rough on baby's bottom after 1x wash. Especially compared to the cotton wipes.

Very happy with these washable wipes. We use them as binky wipes. I think they have a nice thickness, thick enough to get everything in and thin enough to get in between the folds. I prefer to use slightly thicker wipes as a tummy wipe. Unfortunately, after a while the wipes become a bit stiff.

fine soft wipes that dry quickly. prefer the gray ones to not be so susceptible to any stains. with 20 to 30 you have enough in the house in my experience.

Very happy with these washable wipes. We use them as butt wipes. They stay nice and soft even after washing and dry pretty quickly. I think they have a nice thickness, thick enough to get everything clean and thin enough to get between the folds. I prefer to use slightly thicker wipes as a towel.
