Soft baby cocoon made of 100% merino wool. Gives your newborn baby a wonderfully secure feeling. Soft wool that does not itch. Suitable from birth to approximately 8 months old.
Wonderfully soft Hvid cocoon made of 100% merino wool. A cocoon completely envelops your baby and provides a sense of security. The fabric is supple, allowing babies to move around comfortably just like in the womb, while still feeling enclosed. The Hvid cocoon comes with a hood that you can place on your baby's head if desired; however, the swaddle can also be used without the hood. The baby's arms can be inside or outside the cocoon, whichever your child prefers. This Hvid swaddle is suitable for babies from 0 to 8 months and can be used immediately after birth. For very young babies, place the knot a little higher in the cocoon so that your child cannot sink too far down. As your child grows, place the knot a little lower each time.
Merino wool is temperature-regulating, making this cocoon suitable for use all year round. It is ideal for use during the day while feeding, for naps, and in the stroller. Please note: This cocoon is not a sleeping bag and must always be used under supervision. Not suitable for use as a sleeping bag at night.
Material: 100% extra fine Italian merino wool (Oeko-Tex, mulesing free)
The cocoons are made in a family business in Belgium and finished in a social workshop.
Washing instructions:
Merino wool is self-cleaning, so the cocoons do not need to be washed often. Simply airing them out is usually sufficient. If you do wish to wash the cocoon, it is best to do so with a cold/lukewarm hand wash at a maximum of 20 degrees. Use a wool detergent for this. If you wish to use a washing machine, you can do so on a wool wash program, at a maximum of 20 degrees and at a low spin speed. In this case, also use a special wool detergent. Washing in a washing machine is always at your own risk.
