This wool cover by Disana is made from 100% organic merino wool and is available in six sizes. Because they are double knitted, the cover can hold more lanolin and that makes it extra leak proof.

Please select in the dropdown menu above which size you wish to purchase. Knitted wool covers like this should be ordered one size up from your child’s regular clothes. This is because they shrink and felt a little after multiple washes.

Before the first use, a wool cover should be treated with lanolin to make it waterproof. After lanolization, the wool cover can be used for weeks on end without further treatment. The cover should only be aired out. It should be washed when it gets soiled, or when the wool cover still smells after having aired it out. After washing, you need to lanolize the wool cover once. This is once every two to four weeks on average.

*Sizes 50/56 and 110/116 are only available in the color Natural.

With your order, you will receive extensive instructions for washing and lanolization.

The wool cover can be washed by hand or on a wool wash setting on your washing machine with wool detergent or baby shampoo. It can not be dried in the dryer.

Since a couple of weeks I switched to wool pants from Disana at night and I am converted. Lanolinizing is easier than expected and you really don't have to do it super often. The first time 3x with a teaspoon of lanolin and you can certainly do a month (or 2) with that. The wool felts more and more, so you need to lanolin less and less. And besides that, completely leak-proof, which is ideal. I personally buy the wool pants in one size too big, so they can last a long time. I now have size 86/92 on my 7-month-old daughter and she is doing fine. Nice and roomy and up to the chest. We also have two more in size 74/80 and they fit fine too, they fit a bit better :)

After 1.5 years still on wool pants.... I should have done this sooner! Very nice wool pants, enjoy them for a long time.

Purchased for tummy sleeper because he was leaking with his regular diaper at night. I was looking forward to the lanolizing, but it wasn't too bad. He loves wearing them too (and looks incredibly cute). Much less leakage now. I use them in combination with the Anavy night diaper.

After our son (2 years old, belly-slapping frequent leaker) leaked daily in a disposable diaper, we decided to start "the wool pants" after all. We didn't want to do this at first because it seemed like a lot of work to me. After washing and lanolizing it, which in retrospect was not too bad for me, we tried it right away and thankfully had no more leaks! We use it in combination with the Anavy Night XL + booster. In the meantime, we did purchase a second pair of wool pants so they have a little longer to air out in between.
