Wooden Weekly Calendar

This wooden weekly calendar consists of a wooden tray with 7 small jars on it, each containing a Nins figurine. The jars and figurines come in seven different colors, corresponding to the days of the week. You can, of course, decide for yourself which color belongs to which day, or you can follow the arrangement of, for example, the Dalton education system or the Waldorf philosophy. You can place the figurine of the week inside the jar, or place it on top of the jar. It is also fun to write the names of the days of the week on stones or plates and place them around the tray. Additionally, these jars and Nins figurines can, of course, be used in many other ways.

This wooden weekly calendar can also be used in combination with Dear Universe to match the planets with the days of the week. Waldorf colors of the week:

Monday: Purple
Tuesday: Red
Wednesday: Yellow
Thursday: Orange
Friday: Green
Saturday: Blue
Sunday: White

The calendar is suitable for children from 12 months.

Maintenance

Grapat wooden toys are best stored in a dark and cool place. If they get dirty, they can be wiped with a damp cloth. Be sure to dry them thoroughly immediately afterwards. Do not place the wooden parts in water and do not use disinfectants.

Wood is the absolute favorite for the designers and makers of Grapat. Wood is warm and alive and can take a beating. Moreover, the imperfection of a piece of wood makes every toy unique, just as we humans are all unique. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests with PEFC 14-35-00485 certification.

The colored products are hand-painted with natural, non-toxic dyes. Colors may vary slightly from product to product. After painting, the products are finished with wax and vegetable oils. Unpainted wooden products also receive a wax or oil coating. Generally, everything is made from a single piece of wood. In the rare case that two parts are glued together, this is done with 100% formaldehyde-free glue.

All Grapat packaging material is 100% plastic-free. Most toys come in sturdy cardboard boxes designed to last for about five years. They are part of the toy!

Some products also include a cotton bag. This bag is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton.
