De WeeCare SIO inlegger kan in de WeeCare Easy overbroekjes geklikt worden. De inlegger klikt echter ook in de overbroekjes van Buttons en Petit Lulu. De onderkant van de inlegger is gemaakt van PUL, zodat het overbroekje goed droog blijft. De huidkant is gemaakt van een zachte bamboelaag. Aan de zijkanten zitten twee elastische fleeceranden, die eventuele ontlasting netjes binnen de inlegger houden. De inlegger bestaat uit twee losse lagen, hetgeen de droogtijd verkort.
Materiaal:
Onderkant: 75% polyester en 25% polyurethaan
Huidkant: 55% bamboe, 25% biologisch katoen, 20% polyester
Binnenste lagen: 55% hennep en 45% biologisch katoen
Elastische fleeceranden: 100% polyester
De inlegger mag op 60 graden gewassen worden, maar mag niet in de droger.

Advantage: combinable with some other brands of pants. Booster can be slid between inserts. Soft top side.
Disadvantage: limited absorption, even with extra booster. Longer drying time and stays crumpled on us.
I suspect with a next child we will use the insert more often at first because sometimes you change more often but with our 17-month-old it is a backup for the day when all the others are in the wash or drying.
Good, though with stains

We use these with the WeeCare pants. Fits well and the pants look super. Works conveniently with the click system. We do keep (slightly yellow) stains from breastfeeding poop despite following laundry instructions. Unfortunately the sun hardly shines these days /isn't the weather to hang it outside so we have yet to try that out. But they work so fine.
Moderate absorption and awkward fit

I am not yet convinced about this insert. It is remarkably less absorbent than my cotton folding diapers (not super-absorbent) and I find it very synthetic. The use of plastic is mentioned in the description, but I was expecting more natural material. It takes a very long time to dry and I can't find a practical way to hang it for now. We often have leaks with it! However, I will give it another chance because hope that some additional washes will improve the absorption. If so I will still adjust my review!

Great inserts that I combine with the weecare size M pants and with the largest button pants. If I put a booster in between (so really between the top and bottom layer of the insert itself, which goes fine with the somewhat smaller boosters) it works very nicely! I usually change the overpants right away though so I always had inserts "left over", good reason to buy extra pants :)

I have yet to test them, but they already look handy! Partly because of the leaking channels, they look a bit safer than some other inserts, and yet narrow and slim.
Ideal that you can clip them on so they don't move, and that you can prepare the package in advance, and that they also fit in many other brands.
In the smallest diapers it is a bit cramped, but it just works.
I won't start diapering until next month (heavily pregnant now), but I have good expectations of such sio-systems, because they are slim, you save on pants, etc.

Can be used for multiple types of pants and really a very nice insert. The hemp keeps it quite thin, but a good slurper. The layer on top gives it back the softness that hemp has less of by itself, the leak gutters and PUL layer do a good job making the pants more usable than a pad without the PUL layer. In addition, these inserts sit very nicely slim between the legs. Drying time is a bit longer and they can't go in the dryer, but I'm happy to do that! I now own a series of them and use them daily with great pleasure.

A nice insert matching the weecare pants. The insert feels wonderfully soft and has leakage channels with a good elastic band. When getting the diaper ready you can see how good the elastic is, just smooth it out and it fits perfectly. The pants and insert together give a nice slim diaper.
