Super Ludo

Ludo, but different! This digital board game is a modern variant of the classic Ludo game. Super Ludo has a space theme. Your pawns are spaceships, and naturally, they want to reach their base as quickly as possible. Whoever gets all three spaceships into the base first wins the game. But watch out! There are six surprises that can occur at any random moment. For instance, your spaceship might end up in a whirlpool, from which you won't get out easily. Or your spaceship might collide with a meteorite, in which case you have to return to the starting point. Fortunately, you also get a stroke of luck every now and then. For instance, you can sometimes suddenly teleport to a new, better location. Or end up in a completely different place via a wormhole, allowing you to skip a whole section of the route. Sometimes you get to swap places with another spaceship. And occasionally, the system indicates that you may roll the dice an extra time—which is always a nice surprise!

There is a digital die in the center of the board; the crystal ball. You only need to press it to roll the dice. The crystal ball indicates how much you have rolled and also shows when special events occur, such as a wormhole, an extra turn, or one of the other surprises.

If your spaceship has arrived at the base, you can press the special arrival button with your spaceship, causing the glass ball to register that you have already brought in one of your spaceships.

The game also features several extra rules, such as jumping forward if you land on the color of your own spaceship, stacking when you encounter a teammate to block others, 'hitting' your opponent, and taking shortcuts if you land on a fast lane.

Super Ludo can be played with two to four players, in individual mode (where you play with 2, 3, or 4 people) or in team mode, where you play two against two. You select the mode after starting the game using the crystal ball. The spaceships are safely stored in a tray and you do not need a separate die. Therefore, this game is also great to use on the go.

The game requires 3 AA batteries, which are not included.

Suitable for ages 6 and up.
Two to four players.
