Puppi Lanolin (100 gram)
Pure lanolin (100 gr) from Puppi for lanolizing wool trousers
This lanolin from Puppi is 100% pure and completely free of pesticides. Lanolin (also known as wool fat) can be used for lanolizing (watertightening) wool covers, but it also has many other applications. For example, you can put it on your child's bottom to protect it against acidic stools and prevent diaper rash. It is also widely used for cracked nipples and other skin problems. This can of lanolin contains 100 grams.
Lanolizing new wool covers:
Wash the new pants first with lukewarm water and a little baby shampoo or wool detergent. Then put a small layer of hot water in a bucket or basin and add a drop of baby shampoo or wool detergent. Then add a generous teaspoon of lanolin and stir until the lanolin is completely dissolved. Fill the bucket or basin with cold water until the water feels lukewarm. Place the wool pants inside out and let it soak overnight. Do this a total of two to three times for optimal results. After lanolizing, remove the wool pants from the water and roll them up between two towels. Press firmly on the towels to get as much water out of the wool pants as possible. Then lay the wool pants flat to dry.
Lanolizing used wool covers:
Repeat everything as described above. In most cases, for used wool pants, it is sufficient to soak them for a few hours up to overnight.
