Pocket Diaper Rubber Ducks

We tried the one-size rental package to test different systems and brands. Convinced beforehand that I would end up with two-piece hu-da, but we found folding the diaper was double work. Also with SIO and AIO, we often struggled with the loose inserts and, with a mobile baby, it was quite a challenge to make sure everything sat neatly in place. Pocket diapers are the answer for us. once every 2 days I slide all the inserts into the diapers and put the reducer buttons on the right position and put them all in the basket on the dresser. Less than 10 minutes of work and with the pretty prints such a pretty picture next to the changing pad! Sometimes it takes a little tugging to make sure the diaper fits properly in the groin, especially if a romper is tighter there sometimes some pee leakage. Our baby is breastfed and sometimes has giant squirt poop (especially if he hasn't pooped for a week) but the pocket diapers keep everything in! Really seriously impressed, with disposable diapers we could have thrown away a lot of clothes too I'm afraid. The bright color poop washes well out of the diaper (we always rinse with cold water immediately when poopy diaper, just dirty hands), but after the machine wash you see at most a little gray discoloration in the white inside of the diaper. When changing (Tip; with washable cloths from Little Lamb or Elskbar) we immediately disassemble the diapers (take out the insert, unbutton) and put them in the bucket (with laundry net). once every 2 days empty the laundry net in the washing machine. Because the inserts are loose they dry quickly. Especially the bamboo inserts absorb quickly and a lot and are also dry quickly! Within 24 hours everything is dry so we have another day before they have to be put on the bottom again. For the night we use Petit Lulu night diapers, and during the day 5 pocket diapers, so with 20 we come out exactly. For babysitters, a pocket diaper is also easy to put on and needs little extra instruction compared to disposables. Our baby always goes out with his wetbag (modern cloth diapers) which has a pocket for the clean ones and a pocket for the dirty diapers. We are mega satisfied and secretly I check the nappys site regularly to see if there are any fun new prints I want to reorder.
