Imse Menstrual Cup

These Imse cups are available in three sizes and are semi-transparent. They are made of soft but somewhat thicker silicone and are therefore quite sturdy. Thanks to the 100% medical silicone and the sturdy wall, the cup can be boiled time after time. If necessary, the menstrual cup can also be washed with (special) soap or cleaned with a cloth. This does not affect the material. Imse's cups are made by an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) certified company. This is one of the most heavily regulated certifications for manufacturers. The cups are therefore very safe and are of high quality. With proper use, the cups can last more than 10 years. Over time, the cup may discolour slightly, but as long as there is no visible damage, you can continue to use the cup.

There are three sizes available, size S, size M and size L.

Your physique, position of the cervix, the strength of your pelvic floor muscles and the sensitivity of your vagina are important factors for choosing the right cup. If you have a fine physique and/or if you have not given birth, a size S is often suitable. If you suffer from heavy bleeding, you can also consider the size M. If you have a somewhat firmer physique and/or if you have already given birth one or more times, a size M (light or average period) or size L is often more suitable. The Imse cup is not very flexible, so if your vagina is very sensitive and/or you have weak pelvic floor muscles, another brand of cup is recommended.

The cup comes in a discreet bag made of organic cotton with instructions for use in Dutch.

Before first use, boil the menstrual cup for at least 10 minutes, completely submerging it in water. Make sure it doesn't sit on the bottom of the pan and burn. Boil the cup again before every menstruation. During menstruation, you empty the cup into the toilet when it is full. Rinse the cup with drinking water and reinsert it. See the included instructions on how best to do this.

The Imse menstrual cup is produced in America by an FDA-certified producer.

Note: Menstrual cups cannot be exchanged for hygiene reasons.

Nice firmer cup, I personally like it. Size L chosen due to heavy menstruations, cup is certainly not too big and is not too low. Fine thing

Very nice cup, good fit. No uncomfortable production seams etc like other brands sometimes. Does not leak, do not feel size S and M during the day.

A nice firm cup that is easy to insert. I have never used another cup but I really like this one. The protruding tip makes it easy to take it out. 4 stars because I had the feeling that the cup was not so far in and I still have to get used to it (think that is just the way it should be?)
