Helpfulness

An insert that absorbs fine, only it soon turns out that 1 insert is not enough. Then I personally do not like the fact that there is a shape in this one. Especially when your child is bigger and you use multiple inserts, other inserts are my preference.
Too little absorption

I have already written a review of this inlay immediately after purchase but now a quick update.
For a big peeing boy of 15 months the pad has definitely too little absorption at the front.
I tried it today with a Close night insert around it but still after 2 hours of leakage at the front. I would have expected more from hemp
Buttons hemp

At first I was shocked by the size of the insert size L, surely it would never fit in ox pants from Buttons?
But after 1 wash at 60° the inegger had shrunk considerably and now it fits perfectly in the pants on the largest setting. The absorption is not yet optimal because I haven't washed the inserts often enough. But I'm afraid I still need more absorbency in the front with my frequently urinating 14-month-old boy. Because the button pants are quite low at the front this is not enough for now, but hopefully this will improve after more frequent washing. The drying time is not too bad.
Nice fit and no leaking

I used the smaller size up to 8 months and bought the large ones after that. They are very absorbent and small so they fit nicely even with skinny jeans or leggings. The small size does crinkle after washing but I don't have that problem with the larger ones. They hold up good and no leaks for at least 2h.
Did not meet my expectations

Buttons inserts are quite wide. This insert is also quite stiff. The bamboo and microfiber are less stiff. Without a booster, we don't make it 2-3h with this depositor. Since hemp has high absorbency, I expected more from this pad. Long drying time (>12h) but not as long as bamboo insert. Positive is that inserts also fit in pants from petit lulu, among others.
I doubt

It absorbs a lot and I think it feels nice against skin because of the fleece layer. That fleece layer also eliminates the need for another insert. I just find it a bit clumsy to use. I usually let go of 1 pusher to make it fit better. But it's a bit stiff, even after a round in the dryer, and it's too wide for our girl and therefore crumples up between the legs. Now use it as a booster in a pocket diaper.
Very absorbent and not bulky

I used this for about 2 to 7 month old during the day and never had a leak. They absorb a lot and are not bulky for a small baby. I do however have to hang them for a couple of hours after the dryer cycle as they don't come out completely dry but it's ok.
Stiff but good for the night

We use Buttons at night. They absorb a lot and last a very long time (12+ hours). They all seem uncomfortable to me for daytime. I find the inserts quite stiff and large and don't get them between the legs in a nice way so my baby can still move around nicely. For nighttime, however, they are fine. The great thing about Buttons are the combinations you can make and adjust. By the way, we use them with super pants.
