Good absorption, long drying time
about

I saw in the absorption tables that this insert would not absorb much, but bought it anyway because I wanted to try the SIO system from another brand. I am positively surprised with the moisture absorption. However, the insert is stiff and wide which I don't like with changing. Icm the Buttons pants (smallest and middle position) I don't think it fits our daughter very well. I think it also depends on the build of your child, so it is personal. In addition, the insert has a long drying time, which I find unfortunate.

What small and rigid

Inlay falls a bit small so is tight for both buttocks and front. Because the fabric is fairly thick it is a bit stiff to put on easily. A handy one for a quick change during days out or grandparents' babysitting days though, as it can be snapped into multiple pants.

Good absorption, ounce flexible

For the day this one does go well. For severe accidents it does nip. And you really do have to see that you close the cover properly. I am not a fan of the drying time and the heavy on supple wide material.

Good absorption, very large and thick though

We bought this insert to try in combination with an overpants of the same brand. Together with the night insert it would be a perfect night diaper and it is in itself, but it is a huge package!

Absorbs well, does dry slowly

Buttons' inserts look pretty straightforward (without fancy fleece edges and such), but these are just fine. Reasonably thick, but therefore also good absorption. No leaks yet with size small on our 6-pound daughter. Quite a long drying time though.

Look convenient!

I have yet to test them, but they already look handy! Ideal that you can clip them on so they don't move, and so you can prepare the pack ahead of time, as well as that they fit a lot of other brands. I don't start diapering until next month (heavily pregnant now), but have good expectations of such sio systems, because they are slim, you still save on pants, etc.

Drying takes a long time. Absorption is we good. But it is a stiff big thing, so our daughter moves poorly with this insert. Not worth repeating.

Very soft and pleasant insert diaper. Absorbs quite a lot. I have the impression that the urine spreads better over the diaper than with the other inlay diapers I have. Too bad they can only be washed at 40 degrees. They can be tumble dried at low temperatures, which is very convenient. The drying time is not too bad, +/- one day.

Take enough for our son, he is now 10 months. They need to be replaced after about 2.5 to 3 hours. drying is not very fast but certainly not 2 days.

We use this one (L) for ...

We use these (L) for daytime use in conjunction with the button one-size pants for our daughters who are now 9 months. I really like the system! You can put them on allinone. When she poops, I still regularly get the outside pants dirty but it stays inside! Never had any leaks when peeing! I chose this because I think it is a fairly flat/compact system and I like that for the movement of our little one and it also looks nicer than such a thick package. Even the nanny moms are now enthusiastic about washable diapers so I highly recommend this! One small downside, the drying takes a little longer than expected (2 days on the line) so we had to buy more than initially planned. We just line dry and wash at 40 degrees, then it shrinks perfectly to the one-size overpants if you ask me. I find it an advantage that it is a tight fitting (and not oversized) package but we run the risk that she will not fit her entire diaper period in these. In terms of price, we can afford to try a larger combination in the future.
