This long insert from Cloth Bums is made of a bamboo/cotton mix. The top is made of fleece for a dry feeling for your child. The insert is used folded in half, you can choose to place the fleece side against the skin or the natural bamboo/cotton side. For a boy, you can also fold the insert into thirds, so that there is an extra absorbent layer at the front. This insert clicks into the Fairy newborn covers from Cloth Bums.
The insert is anatomically shaped. This means that this insert is slightly narrower in the middle than at the back.

Material: 70% bamboo, 30% cotton
This insert may be washed at a maximum of 60 degrees and may be tumble dried at a low temperature. Line drying is always better.

Quick leakage with this insert

We bought this insert to go with the fairy pants to try. Tried several times but we get leakage after only one and a half hours with this insert. So for our son it is not enough. The insert is also very narrow so there is quite a bit of space left in the pants, possibly that is where the leakage is coming from. I suspect the insert will work for a small newborn, but our son was already almost 5 kg at birth and a big boy so the pants didn't seem to sit nicely with the insert in. So the insert stays in the closet and the pants we enjoy using over buuh preflats and huda one size diapers without a booster. So for us, unfortunately, the insert was a bad buy.
