I bought 3 of the Grovia on Ilka's advice right away. Why? Because the Grovia is easy to boost with an extra absorption layer at the back. Joris has just turned 2 and he can pee on the potty, but he is not really busy indicating that he has to pee. Because of this it sometimes happens that he does pee a big one. Most pull-up pants are suitable for small puddles. I tested the Grovia a few times with Joris before writing this review and also had some contact with Ilka via the facebook group about boozing. Joris has been finding it a little more difficult to pee properly on the potty in recent weeks, probably because he recently became a big brother. So the first few times he had the Grovia on, he quickly leaked. When putting it on, I noticed that the Grovia (size 12-16kg) was a bit on the tight side for my 13kilo Joris, even though he is of a narrow build. But there is quite a bit of stretch on the side and Joris indicated that it was fine. When taking it off you could see the diaper sitting slightly, but I have that with the other diapers too. I boostered the Grovia with a microfiber booster from pandababy, which did not fit in the Grovia. The Grovia itself has a hemp booster (so it absorbs well) On Ilka's advice I tried the charcoal bamboo booster (also for sale at Nappys.nl) the next day and it did indeed fit better. I did not put the diaper on Joris standing up now but lying down, which also helped me get it on better. Joris had urinated (and defecated) on the potty before the diaper was put on and after 4 hours I changed Joris. Joris' boxer shorts and pants were still dry, but the Grovia didn't feel heavy either. In short, I am quite satisfied with this diaper, it is quite expensive, but I can use it as a full diaper.
