Hello Menstrual Disc

The hello disc is incredibly convenient and nice to use. After practicing a few times it sat well and had no leakage, so I am very excited! I menstruate quite heavily so on the first two days I do have to empty it every 4/5 hours. Emptying is very easy. I would recommend some videos from hello period, they explain very clearly how to empty the disc on the toilet without making a mess! I am really super happy with it. From day 3 I can empty and clean it in the morning and in the evening, so you almost forget you have your period and you don't feel it.

I am new to the world of discs, so searched the Internet for other people's experiences. This got me excited about this brand, and I must say, I have not been disappointed. With the cup, I always still had a panty liner because it always leaked a little. But with the disc, this has not been necessary. Why not 5 stars? It is very difficult to remove a full disc without sloshing. I did this every day in the shower and practiced, but it still remained a Jackson Pollock situation every time.

I have ordered the hello disc through nappy's once before. I have tried several discs from different brands, but none as nice as the hello disc. I unfortunately lost it. So therefore ordered again the exact same disc via Nappys. With this disc 0. leakage and easy to insert :). I recommend it to everyone.

I purchased the Hello Disc about 6 months ago, and unfortunately I'm really disappointed with the quality and overall experience. The disc tore while I was simply washing it, which is very concerning for a reusable product designed to last. I took proper care of it, so having it tear so easily is unacceptable. I also noticed that the color (Sea fog) stains very easily, even with regular cleaning, which makes it look worn and unhygienic far too quickly. Compared to my Merula Cup XL (same 50ml capacity), this disc needed to be emptied far more often, which was inconvenient-especially when I was out. Removal was also much messier compared to the cup, making the overall experience stressful rather than comfortable.

I used to use the Nixit and was surprised that this was quite a bit smaller. I was afraid it would leak, but it has been a perfect fit from the first use! So comfortable and easy to remove. The self-empty works great for me, and the removal tab is awesome (I use it folded once). I also love the black color since you don't see the marks that often are there even after cleaning. 10/10 recommend.

Nav the fall promotion I decided to try the hello menstrual disc, and since there were no reviews yet I would like to share my experience, it might help someone else! I used to use the organicup, but I felt that one sometimes and moreover with it I sometimes had leaks while the cup was not full. Also, they say it is better not to use it with an IUD because of the vacuum, I have the copper IUD and the midwife also said that this is often fine. So I continued to use it, and had no problems with it last year either. But now for the disc, you do have to watch the video on Hello's website, because just the packaging is not clear enough in my opinion. But it inserts easily, you don't feel it at all, and I haven't had a single leak! I do find it more difficult to remove the cup, because my hand is regularly covered in blood. But maybe I still need some practice, because I've used it 1 cycle now. Also, it really takes some searching to find the tab and to get your finger through there for pulling out. I haven't tried yet if if you loop it or if it's easier then. When peeing it doesn't empty itself while I have it in (says that it happens to some women), but during the big message the disc also empties itself, probably because of the internal movement. Still, I take the disc out to clean. Then I also tested if you can have sex with it, because that is mentioned, and yes that went fine, my husband did feel some of the disc, but the material is very soft so not really bothered by it, the tab does shift a bit, so also after that some more searching to take it out. Besides, there was no smearing of blood! I will continue to use it!

Super nice product! I too used a cup at first, in terms of function also good but I kept feeling it sticking. Now 4 months using this disc and it is so much nicer, really recommend it!

Super nice product. The Hello menstrual disc is the solution for me. I tried a cup before but because of the vacuum I didn't like the cup as much when taking it out (I find it much easier with the lip of the disc). I also felt both the cup and tampon and sometimes had cramps. With the menstrual disc I have no problems with that so far.

I used a cup for years, but like this disc even better! Easy to insert and I have hardly had any leaks. On the heaviest days I had to empty my cup every few hours but with the disk I get through a whole day!
