Elskbar Menstrual Disc

This Elskbar menstrual disc is one of the few discs with a beautiful pattern in the disc, so that the disc itself looks very nice. The disc comes with a cotton bag with the same beautiful print on it. This bag is ideal for storing the disc when it is not in use.

The Elskbar menstrual disc is slightly oval in shape. The edge of the disc is firm, the bottom of the disc is made of very soft and thin silicone, which makes it very flexible. When inserting, you squeeze the disc together in the middle. The disc then becomes narrow and takes on the shape of a narrow figure eight. When inserting, you push the disc slightly backwards, towards your tailbone. This so that the disc comes well around your cervix. Make sure that the removal loop is on the bottom and front of the disc when you insert it. This disc does not have a flat edge at the top, unlike many other discs, but there is a slight bend in it at the back. Because of this bend, the disc automatically goes easier towards your tailbone. After inserting the disc, push the edge of the disc behind the pubic bone. This ensures that the disc stays in place. To empty it, you can pull the innovative handle and gently remove the disc. If the disc has been turned or inserted incorrectly, so that the loop is not at the front, you can also remove the disc by grabbing the edge of the disc with your thumb and index finger. This way, the disc can still be easily removed. After emptying, rinse the disc with water and, if necessary, wash it with mild unscented soap, such as Hello Wash. When on the go, you can also use Hello Go Spray to quickly and hygienically clean the disc. Before first use and before or after each menstruation, you can boil the disc. You do this by leaving the disc in a pan of boiling water for a few minutes. You can also use a sterilizer such as the Hello Steamy or Saalt Sterilizer.

This menstrual disc can be safely used in combination with an intrauterine device (IUD), because no vacuum is created. This disc can be used during intercourse, making it possible to have sexual intercourse without bleeding. However, the disc is not a contraceptive.
