Wool Covers

Disana wool covers

The wool covers from Disana are very popular thanks to the beautiful colors and the sturdy quality. The wool covers are double knitted and very puncture resistant after lanolizing. These knitted wool trousers will shrink and felt after use. This makes them even more puncture-resistant, but keep in mind that you should always buy a size larger than your child's current clothing size.

Wool is self-cleaning and, once lanolized, has a very water-resistant function. Wool pants are mainly used at night over a fitted diaper or fold cloth diaper. In the morning you can hang the wool covers to air, so that they can be used again in the evening. Of course, wool trousers can also be used during the day, but keep looser clothing in mind.

Wool does not need to be washed all the time. You can generally use the wool pants for weeks at a time if there is no faeces on them. At some point, wool pants will no longer smell fresh after airing. Then it's time for a wash and the wool pants need to be lanolized again.

You will receive detailed lanolizing instructions with your order. We recommend solid lanolin for lanolizing wool trousers. New wool trousers should be lanolized three times before first use.

Disana wool trousers can be washed by hand or on a wool wash program in the washing machine. They dry best lying flat. Do not wring or spin.
